TAIZA accepted invitation to take part in the "Bogotá Fashion Week" along side the Haute Couture fashion icon - Christian Lacroix. Presentation of TAIZA's autumn - winter 2003/2004 collections took place at the Bogotá Intercontinental hotel. Madam Uride, the First Lady of Columbia, paid a visit to the show and even behind the scenes in order to express her great admiration for the charm of Prague fashion.

Fashion Week of the Americas is an annual prestigious fashion show of world famous fashion designers´ collections. TAIZA models were presented in Miami already for the second time. TAIZA Couture collections successfully represented the Prague fashion brand side by side with world famous designers.

After last year's success, when TAIZA by Osmany Laffita was given Vogue fashion magazine's prestigious "Designer's Choice Award" at this important fashion forum, TAIZA Fashion House presented in Miami on March 22, 2003 its autumn - winter 2003/2004 collections.

TAIZA's autumn - winter 2003/2004 collection is sexy. High collars and a not easily overlooked method of binding instead of using buttons beautify silk shirts in contrasting colours. Big airy sleeves can be found not only on blouses, but also even on costumes and wedding gowns. Trousers reach below ankles and side-vents of the front underline long legs. Leather is very often used both for the whole outfit or just to make details more visible. The evening gowns African style became the peak of the whole show. Some tens of thousands Swarowski crystals forming tiger and zebra patterns were used on these two models.

Samy, a hairdresser created hairstyles for the fashion show. A star among art hairdressers, he works with such celebrities as Britney Spears, Shakira, Thalia, Gloria Estefan and many others. Samy´s chic punk hair-dos decorated also two beautiful ladies invited on the fashion catwalk - Simona Krainová, who was heartily greeted by the audience and Vlada Litovchenko, who belongs to the brightest stars of her country and who also bears, besides others, the title of Miss Ukraine. Patricia Field from House of Field had been sitting in the first row - a fashion designer who creates dresses for actors of the TV series Sex in the City.
