Before the fashion show went ahead inside the grandiose national monument at Vítkov guests were welcomed by an organ concert that set off the gala atmosphere of the event. TAIZA fashion house introduced its official partner Champagne PIPER-HEIDSIECK and therefore all guests could try the delicious champagne of this world brand in the vestibule of the Festive Hall.

The arrival of the first lady of the Czech Republic Livia Klausová was anxiously anticipated and she joined the show shortly before it started. She visited the backstage and spoke briefly with Katerina Baloun, a fashion designer who presented under the TAIZA brand for the first time during the evening.

The artistic perception of the show as well as the lights and music fitted perfectly the grandiose space inside Památník Vítkov and made the exceptional models of the TAIZA collection stand out.
Lancôme make-up professionals aimed to underline the natural feminine beauty in an unobtrusive way and expert hairstylists of the Twins studio created forties inspired hairstyles. All the hair products were provided by L´Oréal Professionnel.

The show consisted of two parts. It began with the presentation of the fashion designer Katerina Baloun. Her models from the Pret-á-Porter set were often applauded. A novelty in this collection was a cocktail dress complete with long gloves, however suits also earned deserved success, mainly the ladies' dinner jacket fashioned either in classical black with satin lapels or in an unconventional grey combined with red satin.

The second part of the evening belonged to the models of designer Osman Laffita. These included silk shirts adorned with high collars and striking laces replacing the traditional buttons, blouses as well as suits and wedding dresses with wide oversized sleeves. Richly decorated models from the Pret-á-Porter series were followed by the outstanding evening robes from the Couture line. Handmade embroidery, beads and, above all, models decorated by Swarovski crystals were the high point of the remarkable TAIZA collection and the applause went on forever.

TAIZA fashion house would like to thank to its partners for the cooperation on the presentation of the TAIZA autumn - winter 2003/4 collection:
