KIEV - FASHION SHOW

On June 12, 2003 TAIZA Fashion House presented in Kiev the European First Night of its Autumn - Winter 2003/2004 collections.

Since its arrival to the Kiev airport, the whole TAIZA team met an extraordinary welcome. Journalists and photographers literally mobbed them. Osmany Lafitta, a designer for TAIZA COUTURE, expressed his love for Kiev and admired the beauty of Ukrainian women.

TAIZA event gave occasion for direct transmission on Kiev television together with Osmany, Vlada Litovchenko, the ex-Miss Ukraine and The Face of the Ukrainian TAIZA, and owner of the "Karin MMG" modelling agency, who was dressed in a TAIZA model. She was the main star of the evening's fashion catwalk . A magnificent show arranged on the majestic premises of "The Ukrainian House" began with a speech by Mily Gorodetski, the owner of the "Mireille" boutique that exclusively represents the TAIZA trademark in Kiev. The manager of the TAIZA Fashion House , Jana Fialová, presented strategic changes in the company and afterwards the program started. A Ukrainian star, signer Ani Lorak, Viktor Pavli and a famous group of Latin -American dancers opened the show. Afterwards a mysterious black angel came down on the scene and the fashion show started at a quick pace. Extravagant hairstyles and make-up perfectly suited the exhibited models and fascinated spectators rewarded the fashion show with frequent rounds of applause.

TAIZA's presentation in Kiev of its autumn collection garnered an unexpected response, and not only in the Ukrainian media . The complete fashion show was recorded by six television companies. TAIZA can be - without an exaggeration - called the Ukrainian favourite, and Osmany gave during his short stay in Kiev tens of interviews and you could trace the interest in TAIZA models during the few subsequent days in the "Mireille" Kiev boutique. After a spring presentation of its collections in Miami and Bogotá TAIZA Fashion House thus added another success.

The peak of the whole collection is evening gowns inspired by the African continent. For their creation some tens of thousands of Swarowski crystals were used.

Luxury evening gowns from the silk, pleated taffeta, velvet and laces trimmed by glittering embroideries and crystals form the already ninth TAIZA collection.

Chosen models from the Autumn - Winter 2003/2004 collections are available in TAIZA boutiques as from August.
